About GroupMapping
We are GroupMapping, a consultancy company based in Amsterdam. Our specialty is helping organizations solve complex problems through collaboration. We work closely with our clients to design and oversee processes that bring answers to the surface. We believe that every participant has something valuable to contribute. To make this happen, we prioritize understanding, respecting, and motivating each other. This requires creating an environment of equality, trust, and positive energy. With our clients, we provide this supportive atmosphere to achieve successful outcomes together.

This philosophy is at the core of everything we do. We approach challenges with a playful and creative mindset, not taking ourselves too seriously. However, we understand that the projects we work on are often urgent and have a significant impact, which brings the serious element back in play.
We firmly believe in teamwork and collaboration. By working together, our team develops a deep understanding of each other both professionally and personally. This strong bond enables us to work exceptionally well as a team, especially when we are under pressure. We go above and beyond to achieve the best possible results, even during long, intensive sessions.
We also make sure to celebrate our successes together. Whether it’s throwing a party, planning a weekend getaway, or even going on a ski vacation, we believe in recognizing and enjoying our achievements as a team.
Where are we active?
We have the privilege of working with an incredibly diverse range of clients, including healthcare institutions, network operators, the Police, and construction companies. The one thing they all have in common? These organizations are typically large, with over 1000 employees, and are going through a period of significant change. They are involved in important transitions, such as the energy transition, the healthcare transition, or addressing housing shortages in the Netherlands.
Every now and then, we also have the opportunity to work on projects abroad. For example, last year we worked on exciting projects in cities like Rome, Copenhagen, and London.
The traineeship and career opportunities:
During the two-year traineeship, most of your time will be spent working on an assignment with one of our clients. We strongly believe that the best way to learn is through doing.
As a trainee, you will provide support to the project team of our customers as they work on various projects or issues. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to conduct research within the organization or project team to identify areas where collaboration can be improved. Throughout this process, you will be guided by a senior colleague from GroupMapping.
Over the course of the two-year program, you will have the chance to work on 4-6 different projects with various clients. You will also participate in large sessions and events alongside your GroupMapping colleagues. This will allow you to gain valuable exposure to a wide range of organizations in a relatively short period of time.
To support your personal and professional growth, we offer you plenty of time for training and development, this is approximately 3 days per month dedicated to these activities. On these days, you will have the opportunity to learn more about our methodology, as well as enhance your personal and professional skills.
